We as humans have unique methods to let things out. All of us are special in our ways to express our feelings. For some it might be talking to a friend, going out for a lengthy drive, going on a vacation, watching a movie, or maybe doing something that we love or enjoy. For me, it’s my habit to paint and write, which serves as a small window to escape the voices around and be in my utopia, where my mind and soul can relax. Whenever I paint, no matter what I feel or what kind of mental state I am into, it lifts me.
Apart from painting, there is one more thing, which helps me relax and feel blissful. It’s my habit of writing. Writing is the most potent and powerful keystone practice, which has immensely helped me to grow and be a better and superior version of myself. It gives me that canvas, where I can paint my picture and I am not busy achieving other people’s goals and submitting to other people’s agendas. I like the freedom to revisit my experiences, read them, learn something, laugh about it sometimes (that what kind of silly thing I was into), and be happy about & respect the person I was (while writing any note) and I am today.
Hola everyone! My name is Divyambarii. I am a painter who belongs from a household of artists (Oh; I enjoy saying this every time). I am here not with a story but with my brief note of inspiration, which is close to my heart. I am presenting the note to you in its pristine form, so it doesn’t lose the essence of what I was feeling.
Dear Diary,
I’ll tell you about a new family living in our residence after a dog 7 budgie(a type of bird), three parrots, and oh! Me. In Didi’s balcony, we have kept some old furniture and things, which aren’t of use anymore. An old, non-working AC is also there. One day I was just hanging around in that part of the house and heard some chirping sound. Initially, I wasn’t able to figure out what it was and from where it was coming.
After struggling for some time, I saw some tinny twigs peeping out of from the little duct of the old AC. I sat down there and started pondering. In a day or two, I heard some tweets, and then I understood what was happening. The tweets got louder and louder by each passing day and yes I still have them in my balcony (yea yea!) But hey! The story is not about the baby birds. This is a story that belongs to the parent birdies.
It’s no wonder that no matter you belong to any family of the animal kingdom (but here bird kingdom to be precise), parents are always the same. There were so many times when I saw the parent birdies having a discussion (although I understood nothing and I still done :p). I tried figuring it out from their actions later but wasn’t successful every time. But yes, I can say that it was related to the kids and sometimes to their food. I noticed how they used to fly interminable distances throughout the day, chatter with each other ,and get worms and insects for their babies.
It’s not like I heard the chirping and saw a family of birds for the first time in my life. I have read about birds before. But the thing that made it special was- the family. The Bird Family was living with us in the same house. Watching them do their day-to-day activities was the best part. That is something that made me like them even more. Well, it’s the first time I am sharing my place with such a sweet family.
We all know that parents always try to give their best to their children and the parent birdies don’t lag in this. No matter how hot or cold or rainy it is, the Mumma bird flies all around and gets some worms for the kiddos. I wonder that although these birds have a brief life, still how they give their best in every moment; whether it’s about making a nest or feeding their kids, they work hard (and yes everyone works hard for it. Someday I will also experience it). Looking at their hard work makes me feel more alive; it gives me hope that yes I can be what I want and can get what I desire to have no matter if it’s something tangible or not.
This story I shared encouraged me to work and give my best to fulfil what I want to achieve in my life. Even if this story motivates a single person to work with diligence and give value to small things in life, I meet my purpose of sharing. The birds made me learn that it’s just your perspective, which plays a crucial role. In their perspective, they work for love and love their work. In my perfect world, I wish my life to be something like those of the birds.
I also want people in my life, with whom I can chatter and I have this assurance and security that they will listen (like the parent birdies had with each other). I believe that I’ll achieve everything I want one day. I aspire to have eternal happiness. I know that something of that sort doesn’t happen in a day and that is what I learned from the birds. So I’ll work on it and get it, anyway.
Well, enough of that story now. It’s time to go & listen to my birds.. See you tomorrow!
Love,
A little girl.
